About Me
I am a consultant psychiatrist with a sub-specialization in addiction psychiatry who has been in service for more than a decade. I have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and behavioral addictions.
I have been a guest speaker in multiple medical courses, workshops, and conferences. As a guest speaker on national radio and television stations, I have reached a wide audience, and successfully communicate about multiple mental health conditions and complex concepts. I also served as an active committee member in the development of Management Guidelines for Behavioural Addiction under the Ministry of Health, Malaysia.
I offer a comprehensive range of services, including psychiatric evaluations, pharmacological management, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention strategies. I am dedicated to providing personalized and compassionate care to help individuals achieve optimal mental health, long-lasting recovery and improve their overall well-being.
My approach is holistic, incorporating a combination of the latest research as well as evidence-based treatments, and therapeutic modalities to address the unique needs of each person. I am committed to helping my clients build resilience, develop coping skills, and overcome the challenges they face in their recovery journey.
