About Me
I am clinical dietitician who has worked for 37 years with the Ministry of Health in various hospitals, and I have extensive experience helping patients in acute care. I chose to deepen by knowledge in the field by training as a clinical hypnotherapist so I could help provide mental health support for various clients. My clients range from teenagers to older clients.

My first focus is establishing a good rapport with my client and building their trust. I believe in being professional yet friendly, caring and optimistic so that my clients feel safe and supported. Every client is unique and I individualise my approach to each person taking into account their background and life experiences. I find it personally rewarding when I see my clients achieve their goals.

I help clients address issues such as depression, anxiety, phobias and those with suicidal ideations. I help them with challenges that arise at different stages of their life such as relationship issues, bullying, and dealing with the stress of academic and professional life.

Using the various techniques such mindfulness, EMDR and working with their innerchild, I help clients to build a strength, resilience and confidence. I work on helping them to build positive thinking patterns and stay self-motivated and calm in order to achieve their goals.

I help clients to examine their relationship with food. I provide nutritional guidance and counselling support to clients with eating disorders, from helping to challenge previous misconceptions about nutrition and calories to promoting healthy weight gain. I can also help clients with gastrointestinal disorders
I can speak English, Malay and Mandarin fluently. I can also speak various Chinese dialects including Cantonese, Teochew, Hokkien, and Hakka/Khek.
I believe that nutrition and physical health is an important part of mental health. It’s important to practice gratitude and live each day to the fullest.
