Background

I have worked with local and international clients and spent several years practicing in the United States. I have worked with most clients: helping women, adolescents, couples and families. My area of focus is helping adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, family issues, marital issues, and life motivational challengers.

I am eclectic in my approach to therapy and I incorporate Cognitive Behavioural therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy  into my practice.  I keep updated by attending conferences and workshops.

The relationship between a person and their therapist is one of the most important parts of therapeutic process. It is important for clients to be actively involved in their own healing. I value my client's confidentiality and I see myself as their advocate.

I can conduct sessions  in an individual, family, couple, or group setting, and can help both children and adults. Sessions are typically once a week when required.

I believe that well-being is a balance between our physical and mental health.

I speak English and Malay.
